Arts Faculty Member Support

Noting the lack of significant movement at the bargaining on the branch’s key bargaining priorities, a meeting of Arts Faculty NTEU members on 28 July, voted in favour of organising toward a one week strike in the Arts Faculty from 28 August 2023.

As the Arts Faculty holds some of the branch’s most active and densest membership, the meeting of members held on 1 August 2023 unreservedly supports their organising efforts and directs the branch to marshall significant resources to support our comrades in their preparations and if they take the decision to call a stop work industrial action later in the semester.
